Company Grohmann, producer of metallic consumer goods, was founded.

National entreprise Lisovny nových hmot Vrbno pod Pradědem (LNH) was founded. This company developed subsequently into one of the main plastic processing plants in the former Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.
1990
The national enterprise was divided into independent subjects, state company Lisovny plastických hmot Vrbno pod Pradědem (LPH) was formed from its former biggest plant Vrbno pod Pradědem
1992
During the first privatization stage, the state company LPH was privatized, and the company Lisovny plastických hmot, s.r.o., Vrbno pod Pradědem, focused on production of pressed pieces by injection moulding, was formed.
1995
The company Gardena Ulm founded on the grounds of the LPH a Czech assembly plant for gardening appliances, the company Gardena Technik with the place of business Vrbno pod Pradědem
1996
A storehouse of end products was opened in the town Bruntál, subsequently, in 1997, the plant Gardena Technik was transferred to Bruntál
2003
Second assembly hall of the company Gardena Technik was established on the formerly leased and now purchased grounds.
2001
The German company GARDENA Manufacturing GmbH with the place of business in Ulm (www.gardena.com) became the hundred percent owner of the company LPH.
2004
The companies LPH s.r.o. Vrbno pod Pradědem, Gardena Technik s.r.o. Bruntál, and Advanced Plastics s.r.o. Chuchelná were united, and a new company Advanced Plastics s.r.o. with the place of business Vrbno pod Pradědem was founded.
2006
GARDENA was sold to Swedish company Husqvarna.
